Data is the foundation of medical research, and in medical imaging it drives the development of new diagnostic tools and AI models that support clinical decision-making. The Erasmus MC Imaging Office helps researchers gather, process, and analyse imaging data through services and software aimed at creating FAIR, high-quality datasets. In this seminar, we will outline the challenges in this field and present our new open-source curation and annotation platform, funded by an Open Science Grant from Open Science NL. By combining annotation tools, standardized templates, and automated data management workflows, the platform aims to reduce human error and workload while integrating with the Health-RI infrastructure for data reuse.
